Betty White can STILL do no wrong.
"Hot In Cleveland," TV Land's new series starring White and apparently some other people, premiered Wednesday night to big numbers.
The show got an average of 4.75 million total viewers and a 1.5 rating/2 share among the key adults 18-49 demo, making it the most successful broadcast in the history of the TV Land Network.
OK, OK … "Hot In Cleveland" also stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick as three glamorous friends from L.A. who move to a house in Cleveland.
White plays the caretaker in their new home. The 88-year-old has been riding an incredible hot streak all year long. Since the release of "The Proposal" last June, the former "Golden Girls" star has been popping up everywhere from the stage at the MTV Movie Awards to a Super Bowl commercial for Snickers candy bars.
Much of White's career resurgence has been credited to viral buzz online, most notably her appearance hosting "Saturday Night Live" in May, which she landed after fans launched a campaign on Facebook.
White's digital mojo is clearly rubbing off on "Hot In Cleveland." The show brought in record ratings online as well as on screen.
TVLand.com got their highest traffic in history on Wednesday with 287,000 unique visitors coming to the site. Show pages for "Hot In Cleveland" accounted for roughly 40 percent of the TVLand.com traffic surge.
