Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ Gets ‘White-Mansplained’ by Stephen Colbert (Video)

Ah, now we get it

Beyonce’s “Lemonade” took everyone by surprise, and then immediately, by storm.

There is a lot to dissect in the pop star’s secret HBO special and album release, which seems to give credence to allegations that husband Jay-Z cheated on her. Thankfully, Stephen Colbert is here to “white-mansplain” the whole saga to us.

“I know you’ve been waiting for a white man to explain it to you,” the CBS “Late Show” host said Monday during his monologue. “The waiting is over.”

Colbert then broke down “Becky With the Good Hair,” “Hot Sauce,” and the difference between designer and presumed former Jay-Z mistress Rachel Roy and TV cook Rachael Ray. He dropped a pretty good cookbook gag in the process.

The whole monster truck thing from Bey’s visual album, however, we can all easily understand, the former “Colbert Report” host offered. Some things are just universal.
