‘Big Bang Theory’ Pug Parody Definitely Has Tongues Wagging (Video)

Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and the gang go to the dogs in new spoof of CBS sitcom

Penny, meet Puggy.

CBS’ hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” received an extra dose of awww-someness recently, when celebrity pooch Doug the Pug visited the set of the show to take on the roles of Penny, Sheldon and the rest of the geeky gang.

The resulting parody, “The Big Pug Theory,” injects the sitcom’s opening sequence with an adorable dose of the pug life, as Doug channels Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, et al.

“Thank you to the amazing people at ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and Warner Brothers for allowing us to film on the REAL set of the ‘Big Bang Theory!'” read the description for the video, published Sunday on — where else? — Doug’s YouTube channel.

Very cute — and possibly pretty useful in the event of another protracted contract standoff.

Of course, Doug is no stranger to standing in for human actors — he recently did the same for Netflix’s retro-themed supernatural phenomenon “Stranger Things.”

Watch Doug the Pug dog it on the “Big Bang Theory” set in the video.
