Cleanliness might be next to godliness, as the old chestnut has it, but it’s apparently drifting further away from “The Big Bang Theory” star Johnny Galecki as the years go by.

Galecki, who’s preparing to say goodbye to the CBS sitcom when it wraps up its current 12th and final season in May, took to Instagram on Tuesday to offer a reflection on the passage of time — and the evolution of his hygiene habits.

Sharing before-and-after photos of himself and his “Big Bang” colleague John Ross Bowie — who plays Barry Kripke on the sitcom — the actor noted that he has grown “less showered” in the years between the two photos.

“Babies grow up,” Galecki wrote of the photos. “Or, in this case, @johnrossbowie grows less startled and me less showered.”

Nice to see Galecki coming clean about how he’s changed as a man.

Last month, CBS announced that “The Big Bang Theory” will end its run with its 279th episode, an hour-long series finale on Thursday, May 16 At 8/7c.
