“Little Big Shots” spinoff “Forever Young” grew week over week on Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough for NBC to compete with CBS and “Big Brother” in the key 18-49 demographic. The Steve Harvey-hosted series did top its 8 p.m. time slot among total viewers, however.
CBS was first in ratings with a 1.0 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted demo and in total viewers with an average of 4.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Big Brother” at 8 earned a 1.8/8 and 6.1 million viewers. Reruns followed.
NBC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. NBC was second in total viewers with 3.9 million; Fox was fourth with 2.1 million, airing all repeats.
For NBC, “Little Big Shots: Forever Young” at 8 landed a 1.0/4 and 6.6 million viewers. “The Carmichael Show” at 9 had a 0.7/3 and 3.5 million viewers. Reruns followed.
ABC and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.6. ABC had a 3 share, Telemundo got a 2. ABC was third in total viewers with 3 million, Telemundo was fifth with 1.4 million.
For ABC, following repeats, “To Tell the Truth” at 10 received a 0.6/3 and 3.1 million viewers.
Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and fifth in viewers with 1.5 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 683,000, airing just reruns.
