Former Playboy playmate Chloe Goins filed a claim with the Los Angeles Police Department Wednesday, alleging Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 2008.

Goins arrived at police headquarters in downtown L.A. just before 9 a.m. Two hours later, she and attorney Spencer Kuvin held a news conference outside the building. Goins did not speak, but Kuvin told reporters, “Miss Goins and I are here for two reasons — for justice and for accountability.”

“Apparently Mr. Cosby feels brazen enough and confident enough in his  actions to make jokes at some of his shows about the 25-plus women that have now come forward. Miss Goins is certainly not joking,” Kuvin continued.

“This is a serious matter that involves the potential drugging of my client against her will and alleged unlawful sexual acts perpetrated against her by Mr. Cosby,” Kuvin added in a statement issued later to TheWrap. “We hope that the people who are paying to attend his shows understand that these victimized women who have now broken their silence will not be going away.  Mr. Cosby should and will be held accountable. The increasing courage of women in America today to come forth after having been sexually abused is something that should be encouraged, not joked about.”

Goins, 24, claims she woke up naked in 2008, when she was 18, with the comedian hovering over her, sucking her toes and masturbating after he drugged her. Under California law, charges could be filed as the alleged assault falls within the statute of limitations.

LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith also spoke to reporters Wednesday morning, but would not specifically comment on the case.

“We will take a report from anybody, and we’ll initiate an investigation on any allegations of criminal misconduct,” Smith said. “We’re happy to do that, and we will push forward with an investigation on that case.”

Goins has previously claimed that after taking a drink from Cosby at the Playboy Mansion, things began to blur. “Everything kind of went a little foggy, I started feeling sick to my stomach, and just dizzy,” she said.

She said Cosby then guided her to a spare bedroom and says the next thing she remembers, she woke up with Cosby pleasuring himself over her.

Unrelated to the Cosby accusations, Goins was reportedly arrested in 2011 on solicitation of prostitution charges.

To date, two dozen women have claimed Cosby sexually assaulted them, with claims dating back to the 1960s.

As TheWrap previously reported, “The Cosby Show” star has maintained his innocence through his lawyer since the allegations resurfaced.

In a statement previously issued to TheWrap, Cosby attorney Martin Singer denounced the star’s accusers: “The new, never-before-heard claims from women who have come forward in the past two weeks with unsubstantiated, fantastical stories about things they say occurred 30, 40, or even 50 years ago have escalated far past the point of absurdity.”
