An image of a woman calmly standing her ground as police rush her during a protest against law enforcement in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday has many already calling the photo “iconic.”

The photo, taken by Jonathan Bachman of Reuters, has gone viral and is receiving major praise across the media landscape.

“I photographed someone arguing with an officer and then I looked over my shoulder and saw her there and she had every intention of not moving,” Bachman told BuzzFeed. “She just stood there and made her stand. I was just happy to be able to capture something like that.”

The woman’s name is Ieshia Evans, according to Daily Mail. Police detained her after she joined a group of demonstrators who were protesting after police shot and killed Alton Sterling last Tuesday, but has since been released, according to the site. The Daily Mail said the 35-year-old is a nurse from New York and was partaking in her first protest.
