“My Country Nation is a great concept and I’m glad to be working with a few of my friends to make it a reality,” said Paisley in a statement given to TheWrap.

“Traditional means of producing and distributing content are being redefined daily,” says Trevor Drinkwater, CEO of ARC Entertainment about the Internet channel. “My Country Nation will provide a distribution and content-creation platform for content creators to deliver great programming to a mass audience.”

MyCn will eventually be home a variety of original programs, many of which will center on “grilling, hunting, concert road trips, comedy” and the nation’s “love of all things country.” The omni-channel will be available via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and www.mycountrymusic.com.

“My Country Nation provides us an opportunity to deliver value to our customers so they can save money and live better. Part of that promise is to celebrate how low prices can facilitate great lifestyle experiences,” said Wanda Young, Vice President Media & Digital Marketing, Walmart.

“Brad Paisley is a fantastic partner and we are proud to be supporting him and My Country Nation in this effort.”
