Is Jennifer Aniston getting the last laugh following the breakup of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? The New York Post certainly seems to think so.

On Tuesday, following news that show-business super-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — dubbed Brangelina — had broken up after more than a decade together and two years of marriage, the Post released its cover for Wednesday’s edition.

The cover eulogizes the relationship — though, in true Post fashion, it does so with a photo of Jennifer Aniston, laughing hysterically.

As absolutely everyone remembers, Pitt was married to Aniston until he took up with Jolie. Since then, approximately 12.7 million tabloid covers have chronicled the supposed bad blood between Aniston and Jolie.

In court documents obtained by TheWrap, Jolie listed their official date of separation as September 15, 2016, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Jolie also requested sole physical custody of their six children, offering Pitt visitation rights and joint legal custody. Pitt officially adopted three of Jolie’s children, while Jolie gave birth to three more children of their own over the course of their relationship, which started in 2004 on the set of the married-assassins action flick “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”

In a statement issued to People on Tuesday, Pitt said he was “very saddened” by the breakup.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well being of our kids,” the actor said. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

If he needs a cheer-up, maybe he should pick up a copy of the Post tomorrow and have a good laugh.
