Brandon Brito Out, Chloe Dan In as SVP of Drama Development at 20th TV

Dan oversaw development of “This Is Us,” “The Gift,” “The Resident” and “The Orville”

Chloe Dan has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Drama Development of Twentieth Century Fox Television, stepping into the position previously held by Brandon Brito, who is exiting to explore other opportunities, it was announced Sunday by Executive Vice President of Development, Michael Thorn.

“Chloe is an extraordinarily gifted creative exec who has contributed mightily to our drama development over the past several years,” said Thorn. “While she had more than earned a promotion, we felt the time had come to channel her passion and skills into a leadership role at this company. We’re happy to announce that she will head our drama development team, effective immediately.”

Dan joined the 20th Century Fox Television family in 2014 as Vice President, Drama Development, with projects like “The Gift,” “The Resident” Seth MacFarlane’s sci-fi fantasy “The Orville” to her credit. She also oversaw that creation of “This Is Us,” and also shepherded “The Exorcist” and “Pitch.”
