Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Scores Highest Rated Reunion of Series

The special helped push “Married to Medicine” to a 60 percent increase in the 18-49 demo

Viewers really wanted to hear what the “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” women had to say about Donkey Booty workout videos and bad party etiquette.

Part 1 of the reality show’s reunion on Sunday became the highest rated reunion episode of the series. It attracted 3.6 million total viewers and 2.3 million viewers in the ad-coveted 18-49 demo – up 26 percent over last week’s season finale.

The “RHOA” lead pushed the cable channel’s new unscripted series, “Married to Medicine,” to 1.8 million viewers with 1.2 million of them in the 18-49 demo, a 60 percent increase from last week’s episode.

For the total night, Bravo is claiming victory as the No. 1 cable network in primetime among the 18-49 and 25-54 demos.

Last week, the “RHOA” Season 5 finale attracted 3 million viewers, capping off the series’ most-watched season. The series is not only the most-watched city in the "Real Housewives" franchise, but it's also Bravo’s most-watched series.

The popular series also spawned three spinoff shows, Kandi Burruss’s “The Kandi Factory” (premiering Tuesday at 10/9c); Kim Zolciak’s “Don’t Be Tardy…,” which returns next Tuesday at 9/8c; and the newly announced Phaedra Parks project, "Rich People Problems."

Part 2 of the "RHOA" reunion airs next Sunday at 8/7c.
