Sam Esmail-produced thriller series debuts on USA Network in 2020

Someone killed Rosario Dawson’s sister and she’s gonna figure out who — if only these freakin’ zoo animals would get out of her way.

USA Network dropped the trailer for “Briarpatch” on Monday, its upcoming thriller series from “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail, showing us that Dawson’s character on the show is going to have some trouble getting to the bottom of her cop sister’s death. And it’s not just because of the animals all around her hometown. No, there are humans who want to keep that secret from her and explosions going off left and right making things a little more challenging as well.

Here’s the official description, courtesy of USA: Get ready for  “Briarpatch” starring Rosario Dawson as a dogged investigator returning to her hometown to investigate the explosive murder of her sister.
