Brie Larson was the latest star to take on one of Jimmy Fallon‘s increasingly creative games on Thursday’s “Tonight Show.”
“The Room” and “United States of Tara” actress played a round of The Whisper Challenge with the late-night host, which involves contestants wearing noise-canceling headphones that blast loud music while trying to guess what their competitor is reading aloud from a card.
The key to the game is having stellar lip-reading skills, which Larson stumbled with at first by translating “The Pursuit of Happiness” as “The Bears are Juicing It” and “Parachute of Love.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi was an easier one to guess, while “Got My Mind on My Money and My Money on My Mind,” turned into a major tongue twister.
Larson will next be seen playing a far more serious role in Lenny Abrahamson film “The Room, starring as a woman who is abducted and imprisoned in a garden shed for years as she tries to protect and raise the 5-year-old son (Jacob Tremblay) fathered by her captor.
