Ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Semis, ‘Bring the Funny’ Finale Grow Audiences

“America’s Got Talent” and “Bring the Funny” brought the eyeballs again on Tuesday when NBC continued that weeknight’s summer dominance.

ABC was again runner-up among adults 18-49, airing an original “Bachelor in Paradise” and a pair of repeats. CBS finished second in terms of total viewers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “AGT” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. earned a 1.4/8 and 9.4 million viewers. At 10, “Bring the Funny” received a 0.7/4 and 3.8 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 0.8/4 and third in viewers with 3.4 million. “Bachelor in Paradise” from 8-10 landed a 1.1/6 and 4.1 million viewers. Reruns of “The Conners” followed.

Univision was third in ratings with a 0.5/3 and fifth in viewers with 1.3 million.

CBS, Fox and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, each with a 0.4/2. CBS was second in total viewers with 5 million, airing all repeats. Fox was fourth in viewers with 1.6 million, and Telemundo was sixth with 1.1 million.

For Fox, following a rerun, the “First Responders Live” finale managed a 0.4/2 and 1.7 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1/1 and in viewers with 594,000. “Pandora” at 8 had a 0.2/1 and 648,000 viewers. “Mysteries Decoded” at 9 got a 0.1/1 and 539,000 viewers.
