“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” stars Melissa Fumero and Stephanie Beatriz will venture from New York to Los Angeles to guest star during the third season of Netflix’s comedy, “One Day at a Time.”

Fumero shared the news on her Twitter account Tuesday, with a video of her and Beatriz pulling back the same curtain that Rita Moreno’s Lydia on the show. “Guess who’s coming to hang with the Alvarez family!?!! @iamstephbeatz & I are guest starring on @OneDayAtATime Season 3!!!!!!!”

Beatriz also added on her own account: “CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW EXCITED WE ARE! @everythingloria thank you for welcoming us. We’re having so much fun this week on the @OneDayAtATime set!”

Netflix confirmed the news on their show’s Twitter account, with the message: “Our familia keeps growing.”

The two play “99” cops Amy Santiago (Fumero) and Rosa Diaz (Beatriz) on the former Fox comedy, which will make its debut on NBC next year at midseason.

Beatriz and Fumero join the previously-announced Gloria Estefan as guest stars for Season 3 of “One Day at a Time.” Estefan is the voice behind the series’ theme song, a Cuban-tinged cover of the original comedy’s opener.

A reimagining of the iconic Norman Lear’s classic sitcom, “One Day at a Time” follows three generations of a Cuban-American family navigating the ups and downs of life. A newly-single mom and military veteran journeys through the triumphs and tribulations that come with raising two strong-willed, mega-millennial children, all the while enlisting the “help” of her old-school mother and her building manager-turned-invaluable confidant.

The Netflix series stars Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Stephen Tobolowsky, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez and Marcel Ruiz. Norman Lear executive produces, with Gloria Calderon Kellett and Mike Royce executive producing and co-showrunning. Brent Miller also executive-produces. “One Day at a Time” is produced by Sony Television Productions for Netflix.
