The E! docuseries chronicling Bruce Jenner’s transition from a man to a woman will proceed with shooting despite the fatal car accident he was involved in Saturday that killed one person and injured five others.
Jenner rear-ended a vehicle Saturday, sending it careening into an oncoming Hummer, ultimately resulting in a four-car wreck. The female motorist Jenner struck was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating whether Jenner was texting or distracted while driving. Jenner’s representative told the media:

“The evidence will show that Bruce was not texting at the time of the accident,” Alan Nierob said in a statement to the media, while Jenner said in a separate statement that he plans to fully “cooperate” in the investigation.

Despite the tragic accident, Jenner is undeterred from filming the docuseries that will follow his transition process from man to woman.
