Bruckheimer Lands Fugitive Project at NBC

The possible series would be producer’s first at Peacock since 2005’s “E-Ring.”

NBC is back in the Jerry Bruckheimer business.

The network is developing a new drama from Bruckheimer’s Warner Bros. TV-based production company, a person familiar with the deal confirmed. The hour, to be written by Jennifer Johnson ("Cold Case"), revolves around a fugitive tracking unit.

Bruckheimer, Johnson and Jonathan Littman will serve as executive producers.

KristieAnne Reed, who like Littman is an exec at Bruckheimer Television, will serve as co-exec producer.

The last time NBC and Bruckheimer collaborated on a series was 2005’s short-lived "E-Ring."

News of the untitled Johnson project was first reported by Variety, which said NBC has made a put pilot commitment to the potential series.
