The “X-Men” director and his Bad Hat Harry Productions bring “Creature at Bay” to a TV near you

Bryan Singer‘s “Creature at Bay” is coming to Syfy in the form of a 90-minute pilot. The sci-fi project take place during the aftermath of the U.S. military taking down a giant monster off the coast of Northern California.

The project revolves around a middle-management Undersecretary from the California Emergency Management Agency  who’s charged with leading the clean-up efforts as the previously peaceful town is launched into the national spotlight.

The script is being penned by the drama’s creator John Cabrera, who will co-executive produce. Singer is executive producing with Jason Taylor of Singer’s Bad Hat Harry Productions.  Universal Cable Productions is producing.

Cabrera co-created and co-wrote the sci-fi digital series “H+” which is also produced by Singer. That series, from Warner Bros., is currently in pre-production for its second season.
