Carrie Fisher Once Sent Cow Tongue to Hollywood Producer Her Friend Accused of Sexual Misconduct

“That’s just how she was… she stood up for people,” says Fisher’s friend Heather Ross

Carrie Fisher’s friend Heather Ross said Monday that the “Star Wars” princess had no tolerance for sexual misconduct in Hollywood.

Speaking on local Tucson, Arizona, station 94.9’s “Morning Mix” show, Ross said that Fisher once sent a cow tongue to a producer who she said had harassed her.

“It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box.,’” Ross said on the show.

“That’s just how she was,” she said. “I miss her dearly. She stood up for people.”

Ross said that she met the producer in question online, and thought she wouldn’t be a subject for sexual advances because she failed to meet Hollywood’s beauty standards. The producer picked her up to discuss a project and later pulled a car over and forced himself on top of her.

“When it happened, it happened so quickly that I was ashamed of myself,” Ross said. “I thought I did something wrong. And I thought, ‘Well, maybe by meeting up with him… I was asking for it.’”
