The new shows “Transparent,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Better Call Saul,” “Empire” and “How to Get Away With Murder” are among the television programs singled out by the Casting Society of America, which announced its television nominees for the 31st Artios Awards on Friday morning.

The CSA revealed nominations in eight television categories and 12 theater categories, as well as for short films and web series.

Television programs that aired between June 1, 2014 and May 31, 2015 were eligible for the nominations, which go to the casting directors of the shows. Final voting will take place between Aug. 24 and Sept. 8, though the awards will not be handed out until Jan. 21, 2016.

Voting for the Artios’ feature-film categories will take place in December and January, with final film voting beginning on Jan. 5 and running until Jan. 11.

“Transparent” and “Empire” were the only two shows to receive more than one nomination, with each show being nominated in the Television Series and Television Pilot categories.
