CBS Names Lisa Ammerman as VP Talent Booking

Veteran executive will work with producers and programming executives to create strategic booking packages for artists and newsmakers

CBS has named Lisa Ammerman as vice president of talent booking, the company announced on Thursday.

As part of her newly created position, Ammerman will work with CBS producers, bookers and programming executives to create strategic booking packages for artists and newsmakers in film, television, music, publishing and other areas of culture and entertainment.

“Lisa comes to the position with a diverse producing background and outstanding relationships with artists and representatives in all areas,” said Chris Ender, CBS executive vice president of communications, to whom Ammerman reports.

Ammerman was the senior segment producer for “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” Previously, she was a casting producer for “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race.”

She is the recipient of a Peabody Award for “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson: An Evening with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.”

Ammerman has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.
