Ratings: CBS Slips to 3rd-Place Key Demo Tie With Fox, Despite Airing All Originals

NBC wins among 18-49s — even with 10 percent “Little Big Shots” drop

CBS must miss last Sunday’s Masters tournament, as the network fell from first place in the key 18-49 demographic to a third-place tie with Fox.

The Les Moonves-led broadcast channel was also the only Big 4 network that aired all originals in primetime last night. At least CBS took total viewers — small victories through big (enough) eyeballs.

NBC won in they main demo, even though newfound hit “Little Big Shots” dipped 10 percent.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 6.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. Following a rerun, “Little Big Shots” at 8 slipped to a 1.8/6 and 10.6 million viewers. “Crowded” at 9 had a 1.1/3 and 5.5 million viewers. A second episode at 9:30 got the same rating, but fell to 4.3 million viewers. “Dateline NBC” at 10 received a 1.2/4 and 5.9 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.0/3 and third in viewers with 3.7 million. Following a repeat, “Once Upon a Time” at 8 had a 1.1/4 and 3.7 million. “The Family” at 9 got a 0.8/2 and 3 million viewers. At 10, “Quantico” received a 1.0/4 and 3.6 million viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.9/3. CBS was first in total viewers with 8.5 million, Fox was fourth with 1.98 million.

For CBS, “60 Minutes” at 7 posted a 1.0/4 and 10.2 million viewers. “Madam Secretary” at 8 had a 0.9/3 and 9.6 million viewers. At 9, “The Good Wife” got a 0.9/3 and 8.5 million viewers. “Elementary” at 10 received a 0.7/2 and 5.6 million viewers.

For Fox, “Bordertown” at 7 had a 0.4/2 and 1.2 million viewers. At 7:30, “Cooper Barrett” got a 0.4/2 and 1 million viewers. After a rerun, “Bob’s Burgers” at 8:30 received a 1.0/3 and 2.2 million viewers. “Family Guy” at 9 posted a 1.4/4 and 3 million viewers. “The Last Man on Earth” at 9:30 put up a 1.1/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in viewers with 1.96 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.3 million.
