William Sadler has signed on for a guest starring role on an upcoming episode of CBS’s Sherlock Holmes drama, “Elementary,” TheWrap has learned.

He’ll play Ian Gale, an iconic technology entrepreneur and innovator. Although Ian at first appears to have a benign connection to the victim in Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan’s (Lucy Liu) latest case, his true relationship to both the killed and the killer is much more than meets the eye.
