Cha In-ha, a South Korean actor best known for his role in the TV drama “Love With Flaws,” has died. He was 27.

His management company Fantagio released a statement on Tuesday delivering the bad news. “On December 3, actor Cha In Ha left our side. We’re sincerely hurt that we’re sending this sad news to the people who have given Cha In Ha so much love and supported him until now.”

The statement did not indicate the cause of death. “We earnestly ask for rumors not to be spread, and for speculative reports not to be released in order for his family — who are experiencing great sadness due to the sudden news — to be able to send him away peacefully,” it continued, according to U.K. newspaper The Independent.

“As wished by his family, the funeral will be held privately. We express deep mourning for his passing.”

Cha, whose real name was Lee Jae-ho, was a member of Fantagio’s music group Surprise U. He also starred in South Korean dramas “The Banker,” “Miss Independent Ji Eun 2” and “Love With Flaws,” which premiered on Nov. 27.

He is the third young South Korean star to die in the past three months. In October, singer Sulli died at 25 after leaving a note saying she was suffering from depression. Last week, K-pop star Goo Hara was found dead at 27 in her home in Seoul. Both singers, who were close friends, appeared to have been victims of cyber-bullying on social media.
