‘Carpool Karaoke’: Chance the Rapper Reveals One Similarity Between Obama and Jay-Z (Video)

And then he nearly dies eating veggies

Turns out, stars are not ALL like us. On Tuesday’s “Carpool Karaoke,” Chance the Rapper told James Corden one similarity between his associates Barack Obama and Jay-Z.

“I’m not close with [the Obamas] like I see [Barack] very often or call him or anything,” the former Obama intern told the “Late Late Show” host and his Range Rover driver.

“But have you got his phone number?” Corden asked.

“I have a– no. So, I don’t have a number for him, but I have a number for him,” Chance responded. “I have a person that I could call, that will say, ‘OK, I’ll have him call you.’”

“That’s the same way with Jay-Z. Jay-Z and Barack Obama are very, very similar. Both of them have, like, an assistant that you have to call, and then you get a call from a private number and it’s either Jay-Z or Barack Obama on the phone. I never know which it is calling when I get that callback.”

Corden had a great self-deprecating response to that.

Earlier in the popular segment, Chance teaches James what he’s actually saying in the beginning of “All Day Long.”

After some more music, Corden makes renowned veggie-hater Chance choke down some green stuff while blindfolded. It didn’t go well — Chance is probably gonna stick with Kit-Kats.

That portion of the sketch featured lines like: “Oh, is this a carrot? F—.”

On celery: “Yo, f— this.”

Cucumber time: “Is this a d— in my hand?”
