Charlie Sheen Parodies ‘Dr. Strangelove’ in Ad for Comedy Central Roast (Video)

Meet Dr. StrangeSheen

Question: If the "Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen" aired on basic cable and no one was around to watch it, did it still happen?

Comedy Central took another step Tuesday toward ensuring that we never learn the answer to that brainteaser when it rolled out its first promo for the roast — and it's a doozy.

Parodying a classic scene from Stanley Kubrick's 1964 comedy "Dr. Strangelove," Sheen straddles a rocket a la Slim Pickens and screams like an excited banshee as it descends toward impact. Comedy Central is referring to this clip as "Dr. StrangeSheen."

Speaking of bombs, remember the Situation's performance at the Donald Trump roast? We're hoping for more unintended hilarity like that with the Charlie Sheen event.

The "Roast of Charlie Sheen" will air on September 19, the same night that "Two and a Half Men" returns to the air with its first-ever non-Sheen episode.
