"Glee" star Chord Overstreet moves from high school student to elementary school teacher with a guest-starring role on ABC’s “The Middle," TheWrap has confirmed.

The 22-year-old actor, who chose not to return for the third season of "Glee," will play an idealistic fourth-grade teacher for the quirky and socially awkward Brick Heck (Atticus Shaffer) on the Patricia Heaton sitcom's Sept. 28 episode.
“The Middle” returns to ABC for its third season on September 21, one day after the fall premiere of "Glee."
Patricia Heaton's "Everybody Loves Raymond" co-star Ray Romano will guest star on the season premiere.
