Chris Brown Charged With Criminal Hit-and-Run

The singer was also charged with driving without a license in May incident

Chris Brown was charged Tuesday with criminal hit-and-run stemming from a May 21 fender bender, according to the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.

L.A. City Attorney also charged the 24-year-old singer with driving without a valid license. He could face six months in jail for each offense. Brown is set to be arraigned on July 15.

It is unclear if Brown violated his probation from his domestic abuse conviction involving singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna with this incident. According to TMZ, if it is determined to be a violation of probation, Brown could be sentenced to prison for four years.
