Chris Christie Stages Mock Trial Against Hillary Clinton at RNC (Video)

New Jersey governor finds Clinton “guilty” of “flawed judgment”

Chris Christie turned his speech at the Republican National Convention into a mock trial of Hillary Clinton, going on an all-out attack on the Democratic presumptive nominee during the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, during which he asked delegates at the Quicken Loans Arena, “Guilty or not guilty?”

The Donald Trump supporter went through a list of examples including claiming that Clinton exhibited “flawed judgment” and contributed to a growing threat against the country, accusing her of being responsible for the rise of ISIS and using a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

“Over the last eight years, we have seen this Administration refuse to hold her accountable for her dismal record as Secretary of State,” Christie said. “Well, tonight, as a former federal prosecutor, I welcome the opportunity to hold her accountable for her performance and her character.”

Christie also argued that Clinton left “Libya’s economy in ruins, death and violence in the streets and ISIS now dominating the country.”

“Guilty or not guilty?” he then asked the crowd.

“Guilty!” the crowd answered.

At one point, Christie was interrupted by the audience chanting, “Lock her up! Lock her up!”

“We know exactly what four years of Hillary Clinton will bring: all the failures of the Obama years, but with less charm and more lies. It is our obligation to stop Hillary Clinton now and never let her within 10 miles of the White House again,” Christi said, adding, “It is time to come together and make sure that Donald Trump is our next President.”
