Has Chrissy Teigen actually found common ground with her frequent Twitter nemesis Donald Trump?
Nah, probably not — but she managed to get a pretty good dig in at President Trump while suggesting as much on Monday.
Teigen joked that she “finally” has “something in common” with Trump in response to a quote from the president’s son, Eric Trump.
Via — what else? — Twitter, Teigen took her jab in reply to an article from The Hill, quoting the younger Trump as saying his father’s life became “exponentially worse” when he decided to run for president.
Teigen responded, “ours too! finally, something in common.”
Apparently, however, not everybody saw the humor in Teigen’s comment. Such as a Twitter user going by the handle Stats Holtzman, who asked the “Lip Sync Battle” personality, “Tell me Chrissy, what actually has happened in your life that dramatically changed for the negative because of President Trump?”
As it turns out, Teigen had a response for that, too.
“It’s called empathy. I wouldn’t be so proud to not know it, Holtzman,” Teigen replied.
