The Web is ablaze with buzz that Christina Aguilera will be taking the field to belt out our national anthem before Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Feb. 6.
A spokesperson from the NFL had "no comment" on Aguilera's participation, according to Hitflix, but Gossip Cop says it has been confirmed by a source close to the singer. Aguilera's spokesperson said she could not confirm it to USA Today.
As previously reported, the Black Eyed Peas will perform at halftime.
