TBS has canceled freshman comedy “Clipped” after one season, TheWrap has learned.

The series takes place at a Massachusetts barber shop called Buzzy’s. A group of twenty-somethings who all went to the same high school, but ran in very different circles, make up the shop’s eccentric staff.

“Clipped” starred Mike Castle, Ashley Tisdale, Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Pinkston, Matt Cook, Diona Reasonover and “Cheers” alum George Wendt. David Kohan and Max Mutchnick created the series.

TBS has canceled a number of its original offerings of late, including “Sullivan and Son,” “Ground Floor” and “King of the Nerds.” The network will still air new episodes of the Seth Macfarlane animated comedy “American Dad.”

Samantha Bee and husband Jason Jones have a pair of projects in the work with TBS. Bee will host a new talk show called “Full Frontal” in Jan. 2016. The pair will also executive produce a new sitcom called “The Detour,” in which Jones will star.
