CNN Sets Premiere Date for ‘The Wonder List With Bill Weir’

The six-episode season will take viewers to the glaciers and fjords of Iceland and the Peruvian ruins of Machu Picchu

CNN has announced its original series, “The Wonder List with Bill Weir,” will return for its second season on March 6 at 10 p.m. ET, immediately following the debut of “Race for the White House.”

In Season 2, Weir continues his journey around the world uncovering untold stories about people, places, cultures, and creatures that are at the crossroads of change.

“When you see it, I think it will be both visually arresting and editorially arresting,” CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker told reporters prior to the show’s first season.

The new six-episode season will take viewers to the glaciers and fjords of Iceland, the Peruvian ruins of Machu Picchu, the Grand Canyon and Colorado River, Botswana and Namibia in southern Africa, the secretive Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan and the ever-changing nation of Cuba.

“The Wonder List” is part of CNN’s lineup of original programming that also includes “High Profits,” “The Hunt with John Walsh,” Mike Rowe: Somebody’s Gotta Do It,” “Morgan Spurlock Inside Man,” “This is Life with Lisa Ling,” “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown” and various films and documentaries.

“Race for the White House” is a six-part original program narrated by Kevin Spacey. Each hour-long episode promises to tell the story of one iconic campaign for the presidency of the United States.
