Coachella 2013: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, Phoenix Headline Lineup

Wu Tang Clan, Violent Femmes, Lee Scratch Perry are also performing at Coachella

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Stone Roses, Blur and Phoenix have been tapped to headline the Coachella Music Festival.

Getty ImagesThe music festival unveiled its 2013 lineup Thursday night. Other acts that will be making their way to Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., are Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lou Reed, Jurassic 5, Franz Ferdinand, Violent Femmes and Lee Scratch Perry.

As Rolling Stone points out, many of the acts hitting the festival are in the midst of reunion tours or teaming up after a long recording hiatuses to collaborate on new albums. The Stones Roses and New Order have both embarked on reunion tours and Wu-Tang Clan and Phoenix are working on new records.

For the second year in a row, concert organizers split the festival into two weekends. The first weekend will take place April 12 to April 14 and the second one is slated for April 19 to April 21.
