Coachella Music Festival attendees should brace for high winds and a lot of dust this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the Coachella Valley and surrounding regions, predicting winds of up to 30 miles per hour and gusts up to 60 miles per hour.

Visibility will be reduced by blowing dust and sand, and the NWS is predicting visibility of less than a quarter mile. The winds will create hazardous travel conditions on I-15, I-10 and highways 111, 247 and 395.

The high wind warning remains in place until 11 a.m. Saturday. According to the Desert Sun, Coachella officials sent a notification to festival goers on Thursday, asking for people to secure their campsites and to take the tops off their pop-up tents.

Temperatures, however, are expected to remain relatively low by Coachella standards, topping out at a mild 90 on Saturday and 92 on Sunday.
