Conan, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog Reunite Tonight

The talk show host’s exit deal with NBC barred him from taking his old show’s characters, but he’s looking to skirt the rule

In the words of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog: Yehhhhhhsssssss.

Conan O'Brien's canine sidekick will rejoin him tonight in honor of his show, "Conan" airing from New York, O'Brien announced on Twitter.

"Triumph is on the show tonight. I am very worried," he wrote, and tweeted a picture of himself with the four-legged master of one-liners.

Triumph was created by former "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" writer Robert Smigel, who still provides his voice.

Although O'Brien's exit deal with NBC barred him from taking his old show's characters to his TBS show, he has skirted the rules by featuring Masturbating Bear, including this week, with no apparent legal consequences.

Triumph also made an appearance, via video, during O'Brien's national tour last year.

NBC had no immediate comment Thursday.
