This is some pretty, pretty, pretty good news: Adam Carolla says Larry David told him that there will be new “Curb Your Enthusiasm” episodes at the beginning of next year.

“He said that ‘I think ‘Curb’ is coming out in January,’ and that he would then come on [the podcast] when ‘Curb’ was coming on,” Carolla told listeners on Friday’s “The Adam Carolla Show.” (Readers can find the moment here, by going to Part 1 of the podcast and starting at the 33-minute mark.)

Carolla said that he and David recently met at Comedy Central’s taping of “The Roast of Alec Baldwin” and that the “Curb” creator told him when he expected Season 10 to premiere on a subsequent phone call.

HBO declined to comment on a January return for “Curb” and representatives for David did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request.

Season 9 of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” premiered in 2017, six years after the HBO comedy aired its original series finale in 2011. Not long after the ninth season ended its run in December 2017, the show was renewed for a 10th.

And though production on Season 10 began last October — after being stalled from its planned spring 2018 start — and a teaser was released a month later, a premiere date has still not been set.
