CW Gets A-Team for New Ridley Scott Project

Network of female-friendly dramas getting its action-adventure on with new pilot presentation

The CW is looking to producer- directors Ridley Scott and Tony Scott to add  some testosterone to its pilot mix.

The network has greenlit a pilot presentation from the brothers dubbed "Nomads." It’s described as "an adrenaline fueled thrill-ride following a group of nearly broke young backpackers in foreign lands who agree to earn money (and keep their never-ending “vacation” going) by working secret missions for the CIA. In the process (they get) more adventure, romance, and danger than they bargained for."

Ken Sanzel ("Numbers") wrote the pilot and will direct. He’ll executive produce with the Scotts and David W. Zucker via Warner Bros. TV and CBS TV Studios.

Ridley Scott’s next big movie as a director is the new "Robin Hood." He’s also a producer on the new film version of "The A-Team." The Scotts are also behind the CBS drama "Numbers," expected to call it quits this spring.
