Get ready to see a new member of the DC universe on screen.

In The CW’s annual crossover event this year, Batwoman will be introduced and the superheroes will take a trip to the famed Gotham City, “Arrow” star Stephen Amell said at the network’s 2018 upfronts presentation on Thursday.

The annual crossover has become something fans look forward to and has delivered big ratings to the shows on which it takes place (Last year, the first night of the crossover delivered The CW with its highest-rated night in years). The crossover storyline usually unfolds over a week and on episodes in several DC shows like “Supergirl,” “Arrow,” “DC Legends of Tomorrow” and “The Flash.”

Batwoman will fight right alongside the rest of the heroes, according to Amell. The crossover is expected to air in December, but no further details were given Thursday.

We’re hoping that “Black Lightning” heroes will also make an appearance in the crossover this year given the success of its first season.

The CW also announced Thursday that “Supergirl” will be moving to Sundays to kick off the added night of programming. It will be followed by the new “Charmed” reboot, a decision network president Mark Pedowitz said was about empowering women. You can find The CW’s entire fall schedule right here.
