The Daily Caller Posted How-To Video on ‘Ploughing Through Protesters’ – And It’s Still Online

“Study the technique; it may prove useful in the next four years,” conservative site founded by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson advised in January

The Daily Caller, the conservative website founded by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, posted a video in January of cars “ploughing through protesters” with the instruction: “Study the technique; it may prove useful in the next four years.”

The video — which resurfaced following the deadly vehicular attack on counter-protesters at the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday that killed one person and injured 19 others — was still active on the site on Tuesday afternoon.

The post that included the video, written by the site’s video editor Mike Raust, was disabled late Tuesday afternoon — though the video was still available. The video was also removed on Tuesday from Fox News’ website, which had picked up the Daily Caller’s content in January.

A representative from the Daily Caller declined TheWrap’s request for comment; a rep for Tucker Carlson has not responded to a request for comment.

The video, titled “Here’s a Reel of Cars Ploughing Through Protesters Trying to Block the Road,” shows…well, exactly what the title suggests. As “liberal protesters” take to the streets, others decide to push them around — with their cars.

“None of these clips are new, but that doesn’t mean they’re not still fresh,” Raust noted in his post.

Interestingly enough, the soundtrack to this tango between protesters and SUVs is a cover of hip-hop star Ludacris’ “Move Bitch.”

The Daily Caller was founded by Fox News veteran Tucker Carlson in 2010. Although Tucker founded the site, he stepped down from direct oversight in November 2016.
