Jon Stewart on Sarah Palin Emails: Media ‘Took a Massive Dump’ (Video)

“Daily Show” host compares coverage of the non-event to sifting through sewage

Last Friday's release of more than 20,000 pages of emails from Sarah Palin's reign as Alaska governor yielded a heap of nothing — other than easy fodder for Jon Stewart and "The Daily Show," that is.

"For some reason, the media went to DEFCON 1 for the release of the non-Pentagon Papers," he quipped.

Ah, the Sarah Palin e-mail release frenzy — destined to become the dictionary definition of a slow news day.
