‘Dallas’ Season 3 Debuts to 2.7 Million Viewers

The premiere is slightly down from last season’s 3 million — and nowhere near the Season 1 number — but still solid

TNT’s drama “Dallas” kicked off its third season on Monday night with 2.7 million viewers, roughly an 11 percent drop from Season 2’s opening episode, which was watched by 3 million people.

Among key demos, this premiere garnered 1.1 million adults 25-54 and 946,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen’s Live + Same Day metric. The total, and the demo numbers match Season 2’s averages (2.7 million viewers, with 951,000 adults 18-49 and 1.1 million adults 25-54).

The prior season debut pulled in 1.0 million adults 18-49 and 1.2 million adults 25-54.
