Ratings: ‘Dancing With the Stars Juniors’ Drops to New Series Lows

NBC scores again with another good “Sunday Night Football” game

ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars: Juniors” didn’t have to fall too far to settle for new series lows. It also had a hell of an uphill battle last night against another good “Sunday Night Football” game on NBC, but so did everything else on broadcast primetime.

Due to the nature of live sports, the below fast-national ratings for NBC are subject to significant adjustment.

NBC was first in ratings with a 4.6 rating/17 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 15.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. Those are the averages of NBC’s 90-minute pregame show and the Minnesota Vikings versus Green Bay Packers game itself.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.8/7 and in viewers with 10.7 million. Following a football overrun, “60 Minutes” starting at 7:30 p.m. averaged a 2.1 rating and 13 million viewers. “God Friended Me” beginning at 8:30 had a 1.0 rating and 8.2 million viewers. “NCIS: Los Angeles” from 9:30 to 10:30 got a 0.9 and 7 million viewers. At 10:30, “Madam Secretary” received a 0.6 and 5 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 4 million. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 had a 0.9/4 and 6.2 million viewers. At 8, “DWTS: Juniors” got a 0.6/2 and 4 million viewers. “Shark Tank” at 9 received a 0.7/3 and 3.5 million viewers. A rerun followed.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.6 million. Following repeats, “The Simpsons” at 8 had a 0.9/3 and 2.2 million viewers. At 8:30, “Bob’s Burgers” got a 0.9/3 and 2 million viewers. More reruns followed.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.5 million.

The CW and Telemundo tied for was sixth in ratings, both with a 0.3/1. The CW was sixth in total viewers with 995,000, Telemundo was seventh with 857,000.

For CW, “Supergirl” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 1.2 million viewers. At 9, “Charmed” got a 0.2/1 and 871,000 viewers.
