CBS is first in total viewers, again, with all-”FBI“ block
Disney Night is usually a big one for ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” — and having a double elimination never hurts. But the combination of those two factors didn’t help ABC all that much on Tuesday.
CBS, which finished first in total viewers — again — won last night with three hours of “FBI” procedurals. The network tied NBC for first place in primetime ratings among adults 18-49.
Oh, about that “DWTS” double elimination: we can say goodbye to Matt James and Brian Austin Green.
CBS and NBC tied for first in ratings, both with a 0.6 in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. CBS was first in total viewers with an average of 5.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. NBC was second in total viewers with 4.9 million.
For CBS, regular “FBI” at 8 p.m. put up a 0.7 rating and 6.4 million total viewers. At 9, “FBI: International” received a 0.5 rating and 5.4 million total viewers. “FBI: Most Wanted’ at 10 drew a 0.6 rating and 5.4 million total viewers.
For NBC, “The Voice” at 8 landed a 0.8 rating and 6.3 million total viewers. At 9, “La Brea” had a 0.6 rating and 5 million total viewers. “New Amsterdam” at 10 got a 0.4 rating and 3.3 million total viewers.
ABC was third in ratings with a 0.5 and in total viewers with 3.5 million. “Dancing With the Stars” from 8 to 10 averaged a 0.6 rating and 4.1 million total viewers. At 10, a special from inside the new Oscars museum managed a 0.3 rating and 2.2 million total viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.4 and in total viewers with 2.1 million. “The Resident” at 8 received a 0.4 rating and 2.9 million total viewers. At 9, “Our Kind of People” had a 0.3 rating and 1.3 million total viewers.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1 and in total viewers with 474,000. At 8, “DC’s Stargirl” got a 0.1 rating and 572,000 total viewers. “Supergirl” at 9 had the same rating as its lead-in, but slipped to 377,000 total viewers.
