From Telepictures Productions and WB TV Distribution, “The Real” aired in seven markets this past summer for four weeks. The run showed that “The Real” improved slightly over its lead-in and grew double digits over its run with demos, women 18-49 and women 25-54.

The trial run has become a popular way of testing shows with audiences and led to pickups for “The Wendy Williams Show” and “Bethenny.”
