It could be the last waltz for Tom DeLay.

The former GOP House leader is expected to quit ABC’s "Dancing with the Stars" due to concerns over injuries to his feet, according to reports on websites for People magazine and E! Entertainment Television. An announcement is expected on tonight’s edition of the reality competition.

DeLay was told by doctors not to perform on Monday’s episode of "Dancing," according to People magazine. He went ahead with his samba with partner Cheryl Burke anyway.

"What’s a little pain when we can party?" DeLay said on the broadcast.

Judges didn’t seem to like the results: He finished with just 15 points, ranking second to last among the celebrities. That makes DeLay a strong contender for elimination, so it could be that the politico is quitting before he gets the boot.

Reps for ABC declined comment.
