Demarest Films will finance and co-produce “Two Night Stand,” the company announced on Wednesday.
The romantic comedy will star Miles Teller, Analeigh Tipton, and Jessica Szohr with Max Nichols directing Mark Hammer’s 2011 Black List script. Principal photography will commence on October 15 in New York City.
Demarest’s Sam Englebardt and William D. Johnson will produce alongside Beau Flynn and Ruben Fleischer. Adam Yoelin and Mark Hammer are executive producers. UTA is handling domestic sales, while Lisa Wilson’s The Solution is handling foreign rights.
The story follows a pair of twenty-something strangers who awake after an ill-advised one-night stand to find themselves snowed in by a blizzard that’s put Manhattan on ice. Trapped together in a downtown apartment, they’re actually forced to get to know each other.
