The Directors Guild of America has promoted three long-time staffers to associate national executive director, the union said Tuesday.
Bryan Unger (left) will be associate national executive director/Western executive director responsible for administration and enforcement of the basic agreement, low budget agreement, dramatic programming, creative rights, diversity and agency relations.
He joined the guild as an assistant executive director in 1994 and is a graduate of the NYU Film School.
Ross Hollander (right) will serve as associate national executive director/Eastern executive director, responsible for administration and enforcement of the freelance live and tape television agreement, the national commercial agreement, all non-dramatic programming, new media, all network news, sports and operations and all local stations.
He joined the union in 2001 as assistant Eastern executive director and holds a law degree from the Harvard Law School.
David Korduner (left) will now serve as associate national executive director/senior general counsel.
He joined the union as associate general counsel in 1995, left in 2001 and returned in 2005. He holds a law degree from the UCLA School of Law.
The three will continue to report to Jay D. Roth, the guild's national executive director.
