Diane Sawyer and Bruce Jenner’s representatives are in final stages of negotiations for an exclusive interview, according to media reports.
It will be Jenner’s first interview discussing his transitioning process to become a woman.
As TheWrap reported, Jenner is also filming his transitioning process in an E! docu-series “when he is ready to be open about his transition.” The sit-down with ABC’s Sawyer instead of with E! corporate sibling NBC News has caused internal angst at the peacock network, according to reports.
Jenner, 65, has been photographed with longer hair, painted fingernails, earrings and cosmetic makeup in recent weeks. People reports “his changes have been subtle,” to give his family “the chance to slowly get used to his new looks and life.
