Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur' Gets First Trailer, Poster (Video)

Disney released the trailer for its Thanksgiving Pixar offering “The Good Dinosaur” on Tuesday.

The film contemplates what would happen if the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs had missed Earth completely.

Directed by Peter Sohn, “The Good Dinosaur” tells the story of an Apatosaurus, Arlo, who makes a human friend on his journey of discovery.

Sohn made his directorial debut with the Pixar short “Partly Cloudy.” He has worked in the studio’s art, story and animation departments and voiced the characters of Emile from Academy Award-
winning “Ratatouille” and Scott “Squishy” Squibbles from “Monsters University.”

Producer Denise Ream also produced the Golden Globe-nominated film “Cars 2” for Pixar and served as associate producer for Disney-Pixar’s Academy Award-winning film “Up.” She also has an extensive background producing visual effects and animation for live-action films.

“The Good Dinosaur” opens in theaters on Nov. 25.
